Golem's Rest, Secrets of Luminara

This is my submission for the Luminara art blast hosted by Kitbash3D! I worked over it on and off over the past month, probably about 20-30 hrs total. It was very fun and I learned a lot of different techniques. I had to use Blender to paint since my 6 month free period of Substance Painter from Project Titan ended. I tried many different free programs, but ultimately Ucupaint addon for blender was the best I could find for handpainting. I will definitely be getting the 2025 Substance painter when it comes out on steam, I love the program.

My idea was to basically have a massive dormant golem hover over a volcano's caldera. There's a city around the caldera called "Golem's Rest." There are large crystal towers that you can see surrounding the city. These towers are working to keep the Golem dormant and avoid the potential rampage that could come from it becoming active. No one truly understands why this golem is here, or why it has turned the lava/magma this strange purple. It is being studied in this city of science, and you are a returning scientist, as there seems to have been some breakthroughs.
